Diablo II, a legendary video game that is considered to be the progenitor of an entire category, has been brought back from the dead. Today marks the release of the remastered version of Diablo II known as "Resurrected," which features a completely reworked single-player campaign as well as online multiplayer.
And this brings us to the crux of the matter: Even though the game has been released on Battle. net, many players are still unable to access it. One of these players is Paul Tassi, a Forbes Games reviewer who is currently attempting, but failing, to connect to the internet so that he can write a review of the game.
The server issues aren't affecting everyone, but they aren't the only problems the game is having this morning by any stretch of the imagination. There have been reports of problems with player cre from other players.
This indicates that even though it might look like your character is no longer there, you shouldn't worry about it too much because this too shall pass. Your character will make a miraculous comeback, as if rising from the ashes or, dare I say, being resurrected from a fatal bug.
There is Something Fishy About the Audience Review Scores for 'The Little Mermaid' — Update — The Critics Must Be Crazy. According to a new purported leak, Apple may introduce the most significant design update to the iPhone in years. Answers and hints for today's "Quordle" puzzle, which will be posted on May 31. All of this is a little reminiscent of the disastrous launch of Diablo III all the way back in—checks Google—holy crap, 2012—back when it all happened. A time when there were fewer worries about the future, such as the occurrence of global pandemics and other terrifying events. Why, in all honesty, hasn't Diablo IV been released yet?
Anyway, that game launched with significant server problems and other issues, so nobody—and I mean nobody—should be surprised that Diablo II: Resurrected will face similar problems on the day it was released. These will pass, most likely within the next few hours, and then you will be free to go slay as many demons as your heart desires.
